DomeWorks · AI Systems

Your AI pilots keep dying between departments. We build systems that ship — and stick.

DomeWorks is an AI systems studio for $5–50M service companies. We build the workflows, handoffs, and agents that turn scattered AI pilots into an operating system your team actually uses — and we run our own business on exactly that.

Who this is for

Built for growing service companies

  • PE-backed & acquisition-minded service businesses
  • Regional healthcare, dental & clinic groups
  • Accounting & professional-services firms (20–150 staff)
  • B2B services with sales / delivery / ops handoffs
  • Home services, construction & trades groups
  • Multi-location, franchise & training operators

01

We run on what we build

I don't just build AI for clients — I run DomeWorks on it. The practice operates as an agent organisation: a coordinator triages incoming work and routes it, specialists do the first pass, and a review step quality-gates every output before it reaches me.

Your version of this isn't one person with agents. It's your intake getting triaged, your handoffs getting routed, and your Monday-morning status chase replaced by a briefing that's already done — across departments, not just one desk.

How we work

Start here · $5–15k

AI Operating Systems Audit

We map your workflows, find the coordination bottlenecks, and hand back 3–5 high-ROI builds with a roadmap. Every sprint that follows is scoped and priced by the audit.

Build · from $25k

AI Systems Sprint

4–8 weeks, one executive sponsor, one or two departments. We build the working systems, train your champions, and measure adoption — not a deck.

Ongoing · $5–20k/mo

AI Ops Partner

A monthly partnership: new builds, champion support, tool evaluation, and ongoing measurement as the system compounds.

Our product

The system you keep

Patina is the productized version of what we build bespoke — the context layer your team owns after an engagement, so your agents keep pulling structured business context long after we're gone. It's why the work sticks.

Who's behind this

You work directly with me

I'm Piers Rollinson. I spent 15 years building and leading engineering teams at DoorDash, Square, and Mudflap — the last of them redesigning how a fintech's teams work with AI. You work with me directly: senior attention on the actual build, not a junior sold on a senior's résumé. I run a small number of engagements at a time for exactly that reason.

Common questions

What people ask first

What does DomeWorks do?

We build AI systems that ship into production for $5–50M service companies — and we run our own business on the same systems. Engagements start with an AI Operating Systems Audit, then a build sprint, then an optional monthly partnership.

Who is it for?

Growing $5–50M service companies — PE-backed operators, multi-location healthcare and dental groups, professional-services firms, B2B services, trades groups, and franchise operators — where work coordinates through meetings, handoffs, and status chases.

How much does it cost?

An AI Operating Systems Audit is $5–15k and prices the work that follows. Build sprints start at $25k, scoped by the audit. Ongoing AI Ops partnership runs $5–20k/month. Fixed scope, never billed by the hour.

It looks like a solo practice — what happens if you get hit by a bus?

Everything we build persists in a context layer you own — your workflows, conventions, and system state, documented and running. If we disappear, your system does not. That layer is Patina, and it is yours to keep.

How is this different from AI consultants who hand over a deck?

We implement, we do not advise-and-leave. Every engagement ends with working systems in production and your champions trained to run them. We run our own practice on exactly this pattern.
