DomeWorks · Henderson, NV

AI consulting for Henderson small businesses.

I'm Piers. I live in Henderson. DomeWorks is the AI consultancy I run from here, helping owner-operated practices and firms across the metro figure out what AI is worth their attention and what to leave alone.

Henderson office. NSCPA member. In-person discovery calls inside the metro.

01

Why local matters

Most AI consultancies are remote-first. They run audits over Zoom, send reports as PDFs, and never set foot in your operation. That works for some teams. It does not work as well for a 12-person Henderson practice deciding whether to install something into a workflow that the front desk has run the same way for eight years.

In person, in your office, I see the things a remote audit misses. The whiteboard with the actual schedule. The sticky note workaround for the broken integration. The screen that the receptionist is looking at while she's on the phone. Those details determine whether an AI tool earns its keep or just becomes another tab nobody opens.

The other side of local: the network. NSCPA, the Henderson Chamber, the actual local community of CPAs and dentists and brokers who refer to each other. That network rewards showing up. A remote consultancy can't do that, and it's a meaningful piece of how an audit recommendation actually lands inside a Henderson firm.

How an engagement runs

1

Discovery · 45 minutes, in person if you're local

I come to your office. I walk you through how the work actually happens, screen by screen, sticky note by sticky note. I'm taking notes the whole time. No salesman script.

2

Action plan · 48 hours later

Written, specific, named tools. Three to seven recommendations on what fits your workflows. An explicit list of workflows where AI is the wrong answer. Cost math for the stack. No reselling, no affiliate kickbacks.

3

Review call · the week after

Walk through the plan together. Adjust based on what I missed in the discovery. Most owners run with the plan from here. If something needs hands-on installation, I scope a fixed-price build. $3K to $15K typically. Fixed scope. No hourly billing.

Local proof and background

I've worked with a Henderson dental practice that recovered five-plus hours a week from intake and recall workflows. A Henderson CPA firm that cut document-collection time on year-end packets by roughly half. Independent insurance agencies in the metro where the highest-leverage win was a single quote-time fix the owner had been putting off for two years.

Background: ten years across DoorDash, Square, and Mudflap. Director of Engineering at Mudflap, where my team ran fuel-card systems for 500,000-plus truckers. Pods of two to three engineers, two ships per pod per week, six-week reshuffles. The point is not the scale. The point is the systems thinking, applied to a Henderson practice with twelve people instead of a logistics company with thousands.

Common questions

Why hire a Henderson-based AI advisor instead of someone remote?

Two reasons. First, a 45-minute discovery call is more useful in person, in your office, looking at the screens your team actually uses. I can do that for any Henderson business inside a 20-minute drive. Second, the local network matters. NSCPA, Henderson Chamber, the local SMB owner-operator community: I'm in those rooms. A remote advisor isn't.

What Henderson businesses have you worked with?

Independent dental practices, CPAs, insurance agencies. Background-wise, I spent ten years at DoorDash, Square, and Mudflap, where I led the team running fuel-card systems for 500,000-plus truckers. I bring that same systems thinking to a 12-person practice on Eastern Avenue.

Are you part of local Henderson business groups?

Yes. NSCPA member, Henderson Chamber. Office in Henderson. I attend NSCPA accounting events and Henderson Chamber networking when the topics overlap with what owner-operators actually want to talk about, which lately is mostly AI.

What does an AI Audit cost?

$999 flat. 45-minute discovery call (in person if you're local), written action plan in 48 hours, review call. If it doesn't earn the price I refund. No conditions, no fine print.

What if my workflows aren't a fit for AI?

Then the action plan says so explicitly. Half the value is hearing "don't use AI for that workflow." If your volume is too low, the integration cost outweighs the savings. If the process is broken, AI just makes it broken faster. I would rather tell you to hire the person you were going to hire anyway than sell you a tool that won't pay back.

Do you only serve Henderson?

Most local engagements are in Henderson, Las Vegas, Summerlin, or North Las Vegas. I take remote engagements outside the metro too, particularly the Fractional retainer work. But for the SMB AI Audit, local visits are part of the price.

Who runs the engagement?

Me. Every audit, every action plan, every implementation call. No junior consultants, no handoffs, no offshore team.

Working in Las Vegas proper, Summerlin, or North Las Vegas? See the Las Vegas AI consultancy page for metro-wide context.
